Petey21 1 Report post Posted May 8, 2004 Hey all, I found out that the World Championships semi final game between Sweden and the USA is actually broadcasted in the USA on ESPN2 later tonight (Saturday), and in case the US wins, they'll broadcast the final game vs Canada tomorrow as well. This must be the first time they ever showed the World Championships on national TV in the USA? It's a small step but still a good one for American fans of international hockey. :) Check links below for more info and the actual schedule.http://www.usahockey.com/usa_hockey/main/h...espn2_wc_050704http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tvlisting...x?date=20040508
Dan_The_Man_16 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2004 Wow, talk about rare to see a WC game on a US national station. Good for the game though.
D3nZ 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2004 Sweden is leading 1 to 0 right now. If you go on the tournament site you can access a live scoreboard that will update once every couple of seconds that tells you what is happening, goals, penalties, shots, etc... Chadd 916 Report post Posted May 8, 2004 I'd rather just watch the game and not know who wins before it's on.
