SyracuseBulldogs04 0 Report post Posted December 28, 2005 hey i have a question about some skates. i have a pair of vapor xx's i used last season which are now my outdoor ice hockey skates. i broke the steel blade again and instead of replacing the steel i found some cheap crow holders with steel in them that say they will fit a size 11-11.5 skate(my vapor xx's are 11.5 d's). my question is if i did mount these crows onto the xx boot would i have to bring them in to drill rivet holes or do you think they would line up on the same rivet holes on the lightspeeds. thanks here are a pic of the crows- http://cgi.ebay.com/CROW-ICE-HOCKEY-SKATE-...1QQcmdZViewItem Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I just put a Crow holder on a pair of XX's that some kid gave me that were totally broken down. I slapped the inexpensive Crow steel/holders on them and will resell them as pond/rec skates.
