Best : Just Hockey 416-445-5700 (closest to your bud) awesome store good staff ,

Hockey Shop 416-438-2400(has the Canada XXX),

Pickering Village Source for Sports 905-683-0400 (further away but good staff)

Good : National Sports 416-225-0929 , good store cheap prices, 2 of my girls work there

I got my G3s at Just Hockey, when I was at a tourney in Canada. Great store, excellent service, they really know their stuff

Yeah , they are very good guys , they really stand behind there stuff.

How does it compare to the stores in your area ?

On Just Hockey - I've had good experiences with a guy named Darryl. Real nice, will answer any questions you've got and make sure you get fitted properly. That said, you're not in town so...

I had my skates fitted by a David... not Asian David, another one :P

Very nice guy! Helped explain a lot and was rather interested in Hong Kong hockey :P

It's not in North York, but Duke's Source for Sports (http://dukes1hockey.com/, 416-233-2011) in Etobicoke is only maybe 25 minutes away, it is my favorite store in the GTA by far. Their prices are great, the only time they are ever beaten is when stuff is on closeout at places like National, every other time they are the cheapest place, I guarantee they will be lower than Just Hockey. The best part is the people there, they are super helpful. It's not a good place to just browse because it's not a huge store, but they seem to have everything upstairs somewhere. If you call ahead they will order whatever you want in for you. I just bought a shaft and comp blade for 20$ less than the shaft alone would have cost at Just Hockey.
