has anyone seen or heard any news of the new Rbk goalie gear for 06. On the Rbk site i noticed that it says "copyright rbk/ccm" is this any indication that there will be no new rbk gear with the release of the vector pads .... any info that you got post away

No real changes in rbk goal gear. Why, because it's hot and nothing needs to be changed. I can't keep it in stock!

Well, based on the 20+ pairs of pads and countless gloves I have sold, I haven't had anyone come back with any problems. I have one guy in my beer league who bought the Sr pads, the $299 cheap model and he loves them. Folks though have to keep in mind, the Sr pads are not meant for 4-5 times a week play. If you are using them in that capacity, they will wear quick. Not an issue for kids, they will outgrow them before durability is an issue. For $199 though the Jr pads are excellent, the first sub-$500 pad with butterfly features. The Sr pads are good for the once a week beer leager. More than that go with the Premiers.

Are you sure?? That would not be consistant with what RBK has done with their goal gear thus far...numbering it like the players equipment. Plus the seniors are the middle of the line pad.

I concur.....the 7k series will be underneath the premiers but better than the 5k, which are '05's senior pads. retail is like $600 US or around that. Not a bad pad. I would say perfect for the person who is not playing everyday but still a couple times a week

The new 7k series is AWESOME! Better pro feel and durability then the Sr series, but not as stiff and bulky as the premiers. Plus it costs less. Definitely a very nice add to the RBK lineup.
