TPS Red Lite Control

Recommended Posts

I was in hockey shop the other day and saw a shaft, priced at about 90$ that was a TPS Red Lite control. Is that to go along with the TPS Adrenaline control? Or are these sticks just to be known as Red Lite and Adrenaline? I didn't know if the control at the end was to signify another feature or something. And, what do you think of the Red Lite (control?) as a shaft for someone looking to get into the shaft/wood combo?

Much appreciated :)

Red light control has a sticky grip like Easton or Bauer. The Adrenaline control has a much different grip. For TPS Control = Grip. Essentially the red light control is a TPS grip red light. It's not a bad shaft and I don't recall any problems with the models we sold.

It's good performing shaft but I broke my Whip Redlite Control after 2 slap shots. Recieved a Regular flex Control as a replacement and broke that after one game; same spot. Finally decided to pick up a regular flex Redlite and it's been phenomenal.

Could it have something do with the fact that the Control was made overseas and the regular Redlite made in Canada?

That is what concerns me since they are moving more stuff overseas.

They said "designed in Canada" real big on the underside of the shaft, near the warrenty info, but I have no idea where it was actually manufactured.

don't wanna make a new thread, but whats the performance difference between RL Control and R2 Control?

If the R2 control is anything close to the original R2 in perfromance then there's a pretty healthy gap.
