A friend of mine (ShaneyB) mannaged to get his hands on one today before training. We both looked at the shaft and were slightly confused? E puck show the stick as a blue shaft similar to the 05 none grip version but the easton catalog show it as silver.

We found out that the shaft is a reflective silver and depending on what colours you are near thats the colour the shaft will look. The picture on E puck must have been taken in a blue room! http://www.epuck.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ser...tegory_rn=1803#

The feel of the shaft is the same as the 05 and i could hardly tell the difference, none the less still a nice shaft to have in the collection!

Ps. We will try to post pics soon. :)

Why? For the 250 people who still think they need it? They need to offer a longer shaft more than anything.

If you have a good local Easton rep he may be able to pull some strings for your LHS.

Thanks! I'll bug JR. The other day I was in his store and no 110 flex. I would say about half of my team use 110 the other guys 100---witch I was thinking of trying to get off a better wrist shot. I like the 110 for slapers and passing but might be a bit to stiff for snap shots. so 100 actual may be a better choice. Tonight I was watching the vancouver/chicago game and Rutu changed his stick to a lower flex for a penality shot.--Announcer said it was common.---Makes me wonder.

I'm 230 and i use 90-95 flex, size has nothing to do with stiffness. I have a pretty hard shot, either wrister or slapper.

now that I have this skate issue figured out. I want to start to try different flexs and brands--been using easton brand sticks for years--like an old shoe. I know it has nothing to do with size but your right alot of guys think that. when I was 16 I weighted around 170,,,now 230 to me it is alot about feel. you Know?

I like the fact that I don't have to put everything into a shot to make it take off. If you can't make your stick bend on a quick wrister, it's too stiff.

You are right!!! Thats my problem right now! My wrist shot dosent snap! My passing is great with a stiff shaft and my slappers im proud of. So you know what I am going to pick up a 100 flex. I would like to have a better wristshot. but I have been out of the game for awhile so I do need to get my hands back. I do like the Z bubble. I have tried the bauers awesome stick but just dosent feel right.

I had bad luck with their durability but I'm sure JR will be able to help you find the right stick for you.

Bauer or easton. The easton Sl I broke 2 in a month and did'nt like being on the phone with customer service for hours. The easton shafts seem to be more durable. But now I hear good thinks about the bauer endure shaft.

Most people I know snapped z-bubs like twigs. One of the very few sticks I can say that about. I haven't used one in years so they may have fixed that.

it may vary on the person using the stick. i used to use a 75 z-bub then got an 85 cause i hated the handle size. the 100 is nice i know alot of guys in the 250 range using an 85 flex

Agreed. Any Easton shaft I look at I have to factor in the cost of another butt end because the piddly 2 inch one combined with the short shaft results in a stick that is way too short for me.
