Tackla 4000 girdle or Bauer Vapor 8 girdle?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking to buy a girdle and can't decide between the Tackla 4000 and Bauer Vapor 8. They're both basically the same price, but I can't decide between either of them.

Mobility is more important to me than protection.

I'm leaning towards the Bauer girdle just because the size of the thigh area is adjustable and I don't see that on the Tackla, but any inpuit would be appreciated.

I also don't like the pads around my ribs at all. Can I completely remove the pads that hug your ribs on the Tackla or Bauer girdles?

Thanks

The CCM Pro Senior girdle seems to have everything I want... no rib protection at all and it has adjustable thigh straps.

The only thing is that i've heard a lot of bad reviews about it?

The Tackla 4000 is identical to the old Bauer MBP.

You can remove padding in every section. The only problem with the MBP8 (Vapor) is that the groin area is not protected as well - reason is because pros used to cut that area out.

Vapor is easier to put on than the Tackla. Either one will suit you well.

Thanks a lot!

I'm going to go with the Vapor 8.

I have both and prefer the Tackla for protection and comfort. I find the Velcro leg wrap on the Bauer annoying and tends to twist out of place. BTW you cannot remove the rib padding from the Tackla 4000.
