That was the CBC show where each canadian team of the NHL could pick a guy of their choice. Kevin Lavalee for Montreal, Dominic Noel for Toronto...

They all had tryouts, but none of them made their teams. There was an update I saw on the Making the Cut website a while ago that said who was playing where, but I can't find it any more. Basically a lot of the guys are playing in the ECHL with 1 or 2 in the AHL.

I don't think there'll be a season 2...the show was probably produced due to the lockout last year.

MTC was filmed in the summer of 2004 before the lockout was official. They didn't do it because of the lockout. I think it kind of hurt the show that the six winners were picked and then no chance for them to play due to the lockout.

Ya pretty much all the guys are in the ECHL which is where they were when they were trying out. Although one guy D'arcy Mc........ who tried out and was picked in the final 6 is leading his ECHL team in scoring and I think has been called up to the AHL.

I heard they were making season 2 but I think that was based on if the lockout continued.
