TPS wood plugs are lighter than normal, and I'd imagine all different wood plugs are different types of wood, and therefore, different weights.I can say for sure what kind of wood my plugs is, I'm no expert, but I got it from a pro stock Inno 1100 Fused. It seems pretty heavy for a wood plug, so you may have gotten a lighter type of wood.Hey, at least it looks like our composite plug weights agree...oh thanks ambro! i never thought the difference in weight of wood and composite plug was THAT big!..damn!thanks for the number...How much worth a scale like you have to get those number? could i found some cheap on ebay lol??I have no idea where my mom got the scale from. It's a spring scale that she uses in the kitchen for baking/cooking, not digital, but it is calibrated accurately.
Jason 65 Report post Posted January 17, 2006 Anyone weighed a Z-Carbon Focus Flex before? I should just bring my mail scale to a LHS and go to town on all the shafts, blades and OPS's
#28tz 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 Instead of starting a new topic whats the performance/durability of the 6K blade.
ambro 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 The 6K blade is amazing. I just bought 3 more of them. I now have 3 R2Xn10/6K combos, and they are unreal. It is the best feel out of any blade I have ever used. That includes Inno, R2, L-2, Si-Core, XV, the list goes on. The puck never bounces off the blade on a hard pass, it's just the perfect blade. Durability I can't comment too much on, but the one I have used about 6 times is holding up really good. Hasn't lost any stiffness or chipped like Inno's do.If I were to review this blade, it would definately get a 10/10.
Project_2501 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 I love my new 6k blade. Best feel for puck handeling. And I realised that the Datsyuk curve is just about perfect for me.Very light too.Question: Will the 7k OPS feel like the 6k blades? (blade vs. blade comparison)
