v130 vs. Vapor XXX vs. Vapor XXX-Lite vs. Stealth

I'm thinking about buying an OPS, but I'm just not sure which one of these would be the right choice:

- CCM Vector 130

- Bauer Vapor XXX

- Bauer Vapor XXX-Lite

- Easton Stealth

Which one is the best, which one has the best product-price-ratio?

I have not used any of them but there have been a lot of complaints about XXX Lite durability.

If you were to get any out of that list go with CCM v130. I find all my CCM sticks were very durable, my v120 lasted me over a year, and people that i know that used the v130's are lasting them a long time.

imo i think you should go for the stealth. i have the stalth grip and besides the fact that the grip easily comes oss, its a great, durable stick.

I'm kinda partial to my xn10 (even though it's not up there) ... but if it means much, i think when it breaks im gonna try out one of those... probably the xxx-lite or v-130 (or whatever the new numbering is)

I used all of these except the XXX Lite.

To me personally the XXX is crap. Felt like a noodle in my hands despite it beeing a 102 Flex. I have the feeling that this whole thing bends as opposed to other OPS that focus the Flex (kick) point in a certain area the XXX just seems to bow in the middle giving me a crappy release (but maybe a bonus on cathing hard passes) yet no extra pop at all.

I love the Stealth. Especially the quick release you can achieve and the blade is much thinner than the XXX´s which let´s me feel the puck much better. (Just my taste maybe) Others on here complained about it´s durability but I have had three and none broke on me. I sold two of them to a fellow member and as far as I know they are still going strong. Only issue for me is Eastons retail curve selection....

The V130 is my favorite all around OPS. Decent slappers, the weight is acceptable, very durable stick and stiff. The grip is nice. The CCM regular flex seems stiffer then comparable ratings of other manufacturers. An around here is by far the cheapest of the mentioned 3.

After all you need to find a curve and lie that suits you, so take that into consideration as well.

ive had all of em besides the v130 (i had the 120 and it was the only ops that i never broke) and if you dont care about durability id go with the stealth, when you take those snap shots the puck basically jumps off your stick, the v130 is probably the most durable but imo also the lowest of these choices on the performance scale

The xn10 def needs to be up there. I'm in love with the whip flex xn10 shaft i just got.

the stealh willl probably have the highest resale value, as well the shaft will be worth more than the others, after the blade breaks

go with the stealth the one i used lasted me a very long time...XXX durablity defenitally has issues...friend of mine broke his in about a week just catching a pass

I would pick a XXX but i just can't use the lindros curve...

V130 all the way. I have not had a stick more durable. Light, grip is nice, and the blade really holds up. My next choice would be a stealth

I have an XN10 and liked the stealth I better, durability seems to be a bit better on the XN10 but my stealth still lasted me a hell of a long time. I say go for the stealth, I had a rocket with that thing.

Agreed. The Stealth is a rocket launcher. The XN10 has a great shaft but the blade (imo) seems to off ballance the OPS. The Xn10 shaft is still my weapon of choice but just not with a TPP blade.

i have used all sticks and the xxx lites preformance blows everything away..the blade is sick and it looks to have a huge taper system. compared the the stealth/v130 its a way better buy. its durabilty is questionable mine lasted almost a week but then again my stealths (5) didnt last much longer and the v130 was about 2-3 weeks. It will depend on curve availablity but all sticks are not shabby

Ive used stealths and XN10's and IMO the XN10 was my favourite.

Stealths are nice, but the blade seemed to go soft on my pretty quick.had blade problems on all 3 stealths through normal use, cracked the blade on my xn10 by getting it caught in the boards, and its still as stiff as the stealth!

I have a Vapor XXX Lite and it is probably the best OPS I have used so far. It has great feel and a really quick release. I know some people have had durability issues with them, but mine is over 2 months old and shows no signs of damage or breakage. It may not be as light as the Stealth or Response XN10, but it feels just as light because it is well balanced. The XXX Lite probably has the lowest kick point out of all of the sticks you listed (besides the regular XXX), because it is a true one piece stick and has a really long taper. Also, in my opinion, the XXX Lite has the best feel out of all of the sticks you listed.

Curently use a stealth xn10 xxx inno 1100 and the one I use most is my Trilage TZ4...

All do different things for me... so pick one that feels good to you... you will be fine
