Easton 1300C to inline?

Recommended Posts

My Brother converted a pair or Eastons (1100s) to inline. Make sure when you have the chassis mounted to make sure the wheel clears the vent on the underside of the skate (dryflow thingy). I had to shave a little off because there wasn't quite enough space when mounted. Wouldn't have been a problem if they were mounted a couple mm futher forward.

As for durability the skates are holding up great, a bit of cosmetic damage around the toe box, but that will happen due to friction. No biggie.

Edit:typo

My 1st post...exciting!

Maybe this'll help?

They're only Synergy 500s but hopefully you get the idea.

Sorry there's no wheels on yet, they'll be there on Saturday...will post another pic if you'd like?

those chassis look small

That's what I thought when I got em...I think the pic makes them look a bit smaller than they actually are.

I'm hoping they'll look a bit more normal with wheels on!

Those look pretty nice, other than the chassis looking a little small. Question for you guys....how does Easton compare to you street shoe size.

I wear a 12 shoe, and am in a size 10 Tour Beemer, which is just a little bit too small for me (cramps my toes). I found a pair of the 1300C in a 10.5, but i don't know how Easton sizes their skates.

How do you guys find they fit compared to your normal shoe size.

There's a chart at the back of the 2005 Easton product catalogue in the 2005 Product Catalogue Reviews thread (here) that shows all their skate sizes...

US Size 12 = Easton 10.5

Go for the ones you found!

I'd think they'd be alright. I was in a 7 Easton and told to go for a 7 Tour skate.

I have to agree with EZ. My Zair Comp SEs were 8s, and my Tour Code1s were 8s. Both fit very well.

when i had lacebite, i just put some gel pads in the front of my skates, and kept on skating for he 2 weeks that i had it. it hurt a little, but not horrible. where can i pick up just the ice boots? i rather do this then have to buy a whole ice set up and take the blades/holders off.

Yeah, but this isn't just an issue of lacebite. Trust me on that. I'm actually developing calcium deposits on my leg bones that, if not stopped, will require surgery. I've had hte surgery once on my foot already, it's not pleasant.

As for just ice boots - well, there aren't a lot of places that sell just boots anymore, you might be out of luck on that on.

Ice boots, especially top level, all carbon sole jobs like that there 1300 are made to hold an ice holder...not a roller chassis that weighs considerably more. Although it SHOULD hold up, there is the chance it might cause separation.

Don’t top of the line Roller Blades also have Carbon sole jobs on them? I though some of the top of the line tours use to so why would there be a problem or is it just made to look like it.

Sorry to post again but the wheels are on and as hoped they don't look so strange...I don't want to put you off getting some for yourself because mine looked kinda strange!

Nice....those look really nice. I've already made the buy to get the 1300's. I'm waiting on Fedex now (should be here Wednesday) and them turning them around, sending to Tour to get the Humer chassis put on them.
