CCM -vs- Easton Curves

Recommended Posts

Does CCM have a Drury clone? e.g. the CCM 19 is a Sakic clone, but not listed on CCM's website under curves...

I had a couple pro stock V120 and V115 Drury clones.

Thx, but I'm intrested in a CCM Drury clone RB, one of my friends claimed it was the 31 curve, but have never seen it myself.

There were no numbers on the OPS, other than the flex. The Drury was a "D" and the YP was "YZ". Sorry I can't help more.

My bad. I cold have sworn there was a thread here about an Ovechkin curve coming soon also. Perhaps that will be there retain Drury clone.

Just to prep everybody for the new line of CCM sticks (10.0, 8.0, 6.0 etc.), the Stuart curve will be replaced by the Steen, for Alex Steen, a solid rookie with the Toronto Maple Leafs.

To be clear

Modano=Stuart=Steen

Umm, Ovenchkin uses Sakic clones IIRC.

I think he meant that maybe there will be a retail Ovechkin Curve that is a Drury Clone,Not what Ovechkin uses.

to the original poster. there are some differences from the modano - it isnt an exact clone. im using the stuart right now, it definitely is a higher lie - they say on the ccm chart its a six...but using the easton scale its pretty close to an easton 5.5. its shaped a little more rounded on the bottom, and has a slight bit more mid curve...the modo always struck me as more heel. curve-wise it isnt a big difference at all - but lie wise its pretty significant. i find that its a piece o cake to shoot the stuart low, even flat - whereas with the modo i can shoot higher easier. hope it helps, if you expect the same lie you'll be disappointed.

The Stuart is the same and as far as I know, the PM9 curve in Bauer, currently Hossa, if I'm not mistaken, is the same as the Modano/Forsberg. And Fedorov in the Inno/Warrior (the lie is different though)
