Favorite NHL player

My favourite Flyers are Robert Esche, Simon Gagne and Joni Pitkanen. I do also like Brad Richards and Marian Gaborik though.

I also like Detroit. My favourite Wings players are Robert Lang, Mathieu Schneider and Henrik Zetterberg. I haven't been following NHL for very long though and my knowledge is limited to i wouldn't be surprised if i found out that the Flyers and the Red Wings are arch rivals or something. :lol:

Chris Chelios. He was an instant favorite when I first saw him playing at the U of Wisconsin, and it's been fun to follow his career with the Habs, Hawks, and Wings. He's tenacious and has an edge to his game. He definitely cares about how his team is doing and will cross-check you in the face to win. A great leader.

If Chelios hadn't played for the Badgers, I would be saying these same things about Mark Messier, who is a very close second in my book. Then Bourque, Yzerman, Shanahan, Cam Neely, Terry O'Reilly, Lanny MacDonald, Al Secord.

JAN HRDINA his stats might not show it but if you watch him play he is the smartest man out there he can set up anyone he is also amazing at faceoffs if you see how many wins to loss in faceoffs he has, he always comes out positive.

Being a goalie myself, I have to say that Roy is and always will be my favorite of all-time. He completely revolutionized the position and stood up for what he believed in the beginning when almost everyone doubted him. He also tried to keep spirits high on his team by blaming himself for a GA, even if it was obviously due to his defense. Instead of getting down on them, he would just take the blame and make a suggestion.

As for those currently in the league, I love watching AO and M.A. Fluery (even though the pens rarely let him play

Henrik Zetterberg, hes absolutely amazing, he can make a turnover kill the opposing team and he can make something out of nothing, he makes everyone around him that much better

Favorite player is Rick Nash he has had a disapointing season with all the injuries but still a great player had a great season last time around. He is so powerfull in front of the net no one can move great hands nice guy just an all aroung good player and person.
