Other than that play, I thought he played well tonight. Lead some good rushes...played some solid D...but yeah...He's been ALL OVER THE PLACE. Good, bad, great, horrible. Sometimes in the same game.

I think he is just lost as to how to play guys in front in the "New NHL". I know that is weeak..it's 50 games in he should "get it" by now.

A Hab fan friend of mine thinks his off-ice problems (messy divorce and a Domestic charge) is part of the problem too. I tend to disagree. It's mental mistakes that lead to physical breakdowns during the game that are the problem.

Acutally I wouln't be surprised in his off-ice problem were part of his problem. Last NHL season Mike Modano had some off-ice problems(people stealing his money, selling his Stanley Cup ring) and he was terrible. THis season no off-ice problem, and his play is much better. As a pro player he should be able to focus on the game, and not use his problems as excuses, but he is human. Its probably a combination of his problems, the new rules, and the fact that Montreal's defense is terrible.

canadiens fans have tot come to realize, he is the worst dman on the team, time for him to go.

worst dman on the entire Montreal team? he must of really worked for that spot. ;) Montreal's entire defense is bad. There's nothing there. Montreal won't be successful until they have a respectable set of defensemen.

Montreal's defense is under-achieving and inconsistant...

but, I wouldn't go so far as to say "BAD" top to bottom:

Markov has been great (before his injury).

Boullion has beeen solid. Plays WAAAAY bigger than he is.

Rivet is on pace for a career year Offensively...usually dependable Defensively.

now..it gets tricky.

Souray...streaky all year.

Komisarek...young, learning. Has made lots of mistakes this year. Has had a rough year, personally (His mother died after a long battel with cancer).

Dandenault...Fast, offensively minded, but has struggled defensively becasue of his eagerness to jump in.

Streit...Older, lots of experience in Europe...but still an NHL rookie. Struggled at times, shown flashes of brilliance. More struggle than brilliant.

Cote. Just called up for a second time and playing some decent minutes with Markov hurt. He was the best D on the ice against Boston Thursday.

I hope they don't give up on Komi...he will be a good Defensive defenceman in the NHL some day. Streit, Dandy & Souray could go if need be. The Top 3 need to stay (I think).

you must be a diehard to still have your avatar as something that horrible

You have a Penguin as your avatar, even if it is Crosby.

Montreal's only good D-men are Markov and Rivet and even Rivet has been making alot of mistakes lately.

I'm also a diehard so I know what your going through although although the Habs picked up the win today with Markov back in the lineup and scoring the GWG.
