Was anyone watching the St. Louis Chicago game?

I was watching on HDNet. At 15:47 in the 3rd period the puck went up in a high arch through the air over the glass and hit some poor kid right in the...*ahem* "stones."

Poor kid instantly doubles over and starts rocking back and forth as everyone around him his laughing and trying to high five him for "catching" the puck. His mom is next to him and she looks like she is in tears from laughing so hard.

I need to see if I can find a way to get this off my DVR cause it's a keeper.

Bah! It was blacked out in Chicago. Why? I'm not even sure, cos it was in St. Louis. Oh well.

I instead found the sens vs. pens in high def., which was just as bad a travesty.

If anyone knows how to get clips off of a DVR, let me know...I'll try & search the net for it...but...

2 other "funny" things happened in this game...first, Tkachuk has a breakaway a mile long in OT & completely whiffs on the wrister & the puck slowly trickles in on the goalie...

then...2nd...in the shootout, Blues D Dennis Wideman (who has some great SO moves) makes a move, dekes the goalie completely to one side & has an open net to shovel it in, but somehow manages to catch an edge, which spins him around & then he like kicks both of his legs out & lands smack on his arse...I felt so bad for the kid...you could just tell he was embarassed...

That last one was pretty funny too. I thought the goalie tripped him at first, but on the replay it was clear he tripped on his own.

Ditto...the 3 games since Weight & Sillinger were traded have probably been 3 of the Blues' 5 best games this year...

They blew a 2-0 lead in Detroit to lose 3-2, but nonetheless...played very well.

when you know your on the titanic you've got to work extra hard to get off and i think that is why they seem to be playing better these last few days after the big trades. players are trying to get noticed by other GM's.

I was at the Blues/Stars game yesterday (that the Blues won in overtime) and it was a lot of fun. Not because the Blues played great or anything. Just that they hung in there and took advantage of Dallas a couple of times to win. I've been to ten Blues games this season (don't ask) and this was the first I've seen them win.

Stupid shit like that happens when you arent paying attention at a game. That was funny as hell though. A few months ago, I ran across a vid of some kid running along the end of a high school basketball court get pegged in the head by what looked to be a pass to him. Ill try to find it again and post the link. I was drunk when I saw it and was seriously ROFLMAO for like 20 minutes!

Oh man i have done it, luckily only in a training shootout, looks preety bad, even worse when you have already done the goalie! I was cutting across the net and just hit a rough patch witht he toe of my blade, but man, this guy did his with style
