Project_2501 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2006 Get a Spyder, my last one cost me $400 and is awsome. I'll see if I can find it.I can't remember which one and I'm too lazy to go look at which one it is, but it's thinsulate lines, thin, medium length (stays to waist with arms over my head) and damn warm... peter54 0 Report post Posted February 12, 2006 Check out some 686 stuff. I haven't used one of their jackets, but I've heard nothing but good things about them. I'm using a Special Blend jacket from about 5 years ago and it's still holding up well.

Project_2501 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2006 Oh man, that TNF Met5 jacket is sick. Costs $500 (abouts) and has a lithium ion battery based heater core in it. Heats the fleece-lined shell to 105*F or 117*F.
whbd18 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2006 And would ski jackets bother you while snowboarding? I ski a lot but this year im also doing snowboarding.. Ski jackets fit tight, snowboard jackets fit loose. They are loose so you can move easier. But for a first year snowboarder it wouldnt make any difference what kind of jacket you get. Project_2501 0 Report post Posted February 13, 2006 Pfft, screw them. I'm not concerned about the spectators, worry about the players. Though, as long as my mum got one and it fit me fine, it would be okay by me.
