7/16 hollow = ?MM

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what a 7/16ths hollow would be in mm. I am shopping around for replacement tblades and a lot of them are in MM. I have had my skates at 7/16 for as long as I remember and need to find the correct mm measurement :)

Thanks

In my local hockey shop they've default hollow of 26mm. I was wondering if this is diameter or radius?

I would like to try 5/8" hollow (I'm 6'2, 190lbs). What would it be in millimetres? I calculated ~16mm OR ~32mm, is the latter correct? Thanks.

I just switched from t-blades to lightspeeds. I was using 15mm tblades and the guy at the lhs said that this is equivelent to 1/2'' hollow on lightspeeds. I know using the conversion this isnt correct but is there some kind other factor involved between the tbalde and normal steel.

Google can do nearly any kind of unit conversion you want if you just ask it.

I goddamn know what Google can do and how many centimeters is an inch, if you would please read my question with some thought. Thanks.

I am continually entertained with the responses to questions on this board. Sure, the question has been asked before. Sure you can go to google. Sure you can use the V E R Y S L O W search function on this site. You can also ask the question. Often times when I see a response like some of these listed above, I am expecting some nerd with 4 pagers, a couple of cell phones, a pocket protector full of pens and tape on his glasses to holler out, "YOU'RE WELCOME!"

What are you, too lazy to change 7/16 to 5/8?

Hint: Click the freaking link.

And if you mean asking why their default hollow is 26mm, that almost has to be diameter; that would be more than an inch, and I don't even know if hockey sharpeners can go that high. If they can it would be ridiculously shallow.

There's also the possibility (which happens to be true) that I was responding to the original post, not your question, but thanks for the attitude--I was running low.
