Ogie Oglethorpe 14 Report post Posted February 21, 2006 OK, so I know the Vectors are supposed to fit differently from the Tack series skates. A rough estimate someone gave me is that the Vector 9e fits (width wise only - presume the arch could fit differently) similar to that of a Tack 9d. I am in a tack 9d now, but need a bigger toe box only. Anyone have any idea if the toe box on the Vector E width skate is same as a Tack's E width toe box? Or, is it same as the D?I'd find out at a LHS, but no one stocks the E width around here. Thanks in advance.O.O.

HkyVictor 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2006 I'm not sure hom much this will help, but I have a really wide foot anf the Vector E fits great... they are pretty wide, I would ask your lhs to get a pair for you to try, generally theyre pretty helpful with that... and yes, the toe box is pretty big in the E... sorry i cant compare it to the tacks but you definately want to try them on befoe you get them... althoma1 575 Report post Posted February 22, 2006 When I originally got my Vector Pros I had tried on 8Ds and the forefoot toe box area felt like a vice...I went with an 8.5D, but that turned out to be about a size too long and the lacing pattern was wide suggesting I needed an E. I recently sold the 8.5D's on ebay.Anyway, out of curiousity I tried on some 8E Vector 7.0s I saw on clearance pile at a local Sport Check and the toe box was comfortable. I probaby could've gone down to a 7.5E while the 8Ds killed my forefoot. The toe box in the E Vectors is diffinitely roomier than the D toe box. I can't compare them with Tacks either, but hope that helps you out.
