Switching curves and companies.

Recommended Posts

I've been using an easton yzerman curve ever since they released the original synergy. I currently use a synthesis combo but can't find the blades anywhere. I have also been having a major problem with my slapshots sailing over the net and have realized that I have been wearing away the heel of my blade. Can you guys recommend any tapered curves and companies that may fit my style?

Your Lie is too high (Yzerman is a 6)

Easton has replaced the Yzerman with a Gaborik curve (Identical apart from the 5.5lie), will make for an effortless transition and reduce the heel wear... ;)

Not to hijack the thread but since people know what they're talking about here:

I use a Easton shaft (forget the name - it's read - the older style) - 115 Flex (stiff and heavy) with 950 Sherwood Blades (Coffey).

All of my blades basically break by developing a crack down the middle of the blade, parallel to the ground.

Is my shat to stiff for the blades I'm using, or am I using the wrong lie?

thanks
