Getting New Steel

Apparently there is a problem in our area with getting replacement blades for my skates. I've got CCM Vector 6's using blade size 271. I called all the hockey shops in Dallas that I could find and the only shop that had blades had them perforated. Since I had solids before I don't think I really want to change.

I was wondering should I cave in and just get the perforated blades or can I pester one of you guys who own / work at a hockey shop to see if you have the blades I need and then see if we can do business?

if you know the right size of blade why not by them online?

I heard that CCM perforated blades aren't bad at all!

I've had CCM perforated steel for about a year and I have not had any problems. Also I have not heard anyone complain about the CCM steel.

The perfs are fine, just get them from your LHS.
