Older CCM's narrower?

Were older CCM models (say 5-10 years ago) narrower than the current models? I'm talking about the Tacks line. I ask because some current 452's I tried on were way wider than an older pair of 652's.

I don't think so. Tacks have been around for a long time and they have a well known reputation as being a wide skate. Perhaps you have a different width as they are a few available?

I always thought the older ones (651s, etc) were narrower too... they never seemed to fit me until about 5-6 years ago. The arch feels different too.
