Graf 609

Recommended Posts

I am thinking about putting tuuks on mine and was wondering. They claim 609 have the most Neutral profile of grafs. Would make the adjustment easier to tuuks?

Thanks Sid

when you make the switch to tuuks from cobras it is going to be a big change no matter what graf boot your in. You will feel like your leaning way back.

Listen to hyprite he's absolutely correct. It's a really big change. You'll be really back on your heels on Tuuks whereas you where really forward on your toes with the Cobras. If you have worn Tuuks before I'd say give it a go but don't be skating flat out right off the bat, especially going into the corners or to the boards. You might find yourself head over tea kettle pretty quick because the change of balance is so radical. I personally found this out the hard way just switching from CCM to Bauers on a couple of occassions. Give yourself a few weeks to readjust to the switch.

i put tuuk custom + on my 705s and it took me a while to get used to the adjustment from the different leans. i just recently bought a pair of 707s without putting tuuks on them and they did not take me long at all to get used to the foward pitch again, i actually like the way the cobras felt more. i now regulary switch between my 705s and 707s and there is not much time needed mayb 5 mins to get used to different skate that i hadnt worn previously. just my 2 cents.

You could always put the Lightspeed 2's on - that won't be as drastic a change. Or if you REALLY want the tuuk custom + , have the shop insert 1/8 or 1/16 lifts - I have those on my skates.
