Shoulder pad suggestion?

Can you guys suggest a set of shoulder pads that would be good for non-check league hockey. The pads I am currently using are Itech Pro Elite 855's. I feel like I am wearing a dang flack jacket with them on. I want some that offer protection but are not too bulky and can fit into my budget. Thanks.

I haven't used any of these, but those are about as minimalist as they get.

I'm taking a hockey class through my university that requires shoulder pads, and I got the SP50's and made them virtually useless by removing the velcro shoulder parts. They serve their purpose by being classified as shoulder pads and thats about it.

HockeyGiant has the Bauer 2000 shoulder pads in a Med. for $19.99. Is that a decent pad?

Yes, if your only looking for some pretty basic protection they'll be fine.
