I found i really good deal on the Mission Ether and i wondering if any of you know if it is as good as the L-2 or the Flyweight. Thanks.

It's noticably heavier than the others. Also the ones I've seen have the rounded "biomorphic" profile.

Yeah, give it a shot. You'd be hard-pressed to find tapered shafts at that price. Or you can pay a little bit more and buy a Bauer XV which would be better performance-wise.

I'm 6'3 180 and i like a stiff relatively long shaft. I have yet to see a XV that wasn't flimsy and short. So i don't know if i could use one. But i do like the XV blades.

i am in the same boat at the same height and 10lbs heavier. I have found nothing but broken synergies to work for me and I would look into also a synthesis shaft if you can get one at a decent price.

The Ether blades for that stick were good but they stopped selling them...

Just get a Synthesis or NBH or TPS R2 wood blade. Same as the Ether.

those guys dont have the curve i am looking for, it was a 5/16 heel open at the toe medium length blade. I buy whatever ether blade i can find and re-curve it, then lop off the toe to shorten the blade. I have a hard time finding blades that i really like and can use to suite my preference.

Going to try christian's custom blade ordering.
