I thought the Kings were in trouble because of injuries to key players (e.g. Frolov), but was Murray coaching that badly / did he lose the room?

The players tuned him out some time ago. Quit playing hard in games just floating. Apparently some players have said he is too nice of a coach and they dont fear the wrath if they have a bad game

IMO it mostly had to do with the way he went about things. Using cliches game in game out, making them write essays, sitting the 3rd and 4th line players who give it all every game when the team was playing bad, making his talented players play like grinders. The list goes on and on.

andy murray is actually a distant relative of my dads...like a 2nd cousin or something. not close enough for free tickets though...not that it'd matter now i guess.
