spraypainting gloves

Hey guys, i'm thinking about getting a pair of Easton Z-Air gloves, the same model that Sakic and Hejduk wear. The only thing is, I can only find them in navy blue, and I would really want them in black. Do you think it would be effective to cover the blue with a coat of black spraypaint, or would I have to recoat it after every game due to the black rubbing/wearing off?

Leather dye would do the trick, but your logo's would be black also, if thats a concern.

You can try to save the logos by masking them out with tape.

Leetch's gloves were cracking up pretty bad towards the end of the playoffs. Dandenault spray painted his Eagles completely this season (I think, I know Geki can verify this for sure :P) and they looked pretty cool.

Almost positive that they were leather. I know for a fact that the CCMs he switched to during the playoffs were leather, and I'm 99%sure his Eagles were too.
