One foot 9 and the other 9.5 HELP!

Recommended Posts

Im in the throws of buying a paif of Bauer 8090's. Problem is my left foot is a 9 and my right is a 9.5 Logic would suggest that i take the 9.5. Someone has advised me that a 9 would work after baking them and making a little extra room for the larger foot. Does anyone have any thoughts, i really want to put this to rest today.

Actually, in terms of hockey skates, logic would suggest you choose a size 9. A skate too small can be made bigger but a skate too big can't be made smaller.

JR beat me to it.

Actually, I'm in a very similiar position as my right foot is ~9.0 and left 9.5 (in 8090) and I'm going to buy 8090 soon also. Lenght difference is due to a bunion related problem: my big toe isn't in straight angle. I got one online hockey shop worker to measure 9.0EE 8090's insole, and it was 28.5cm/11.22" long (my feet 28.8 and 29.5cm).
