HELP..visors!

Recommended Posts

I Use the z leader that flips up for practice and warm up and stuff. ets the visor Ice temp for less fog up and its gets it out of my way when I want it out of my way. If it is stored in the bag it may not get scratched too easily. Just IMO

I can't say that I have tried the new Itech visor yet (although I did have a couple for sale in the forums earlier) and have also sold a couple to friends and they both love them.  They are very light (compared to the HX50) and neither have complained about fogging.  I have just recently put on a visor (having never used anything for several years...used a cage 10 years ago) and am using a Itech HS22 which is obviously not what you are looking for.  Can't speak about the Oakley but I think you can't beat the Itech due to the replacement lenses, might be a little more upfront but it has to be less expensive in the long run IMO.  (btw hyprlte, I have more visors that are in good shape, I'll PM you tonight)

The HS22 straight is pretty much identical to the Oakley he's looking at. The biggest difference is the coating that Oakley uses.

I don't think the Oakley will cover your nose then, my HS22 doesn't even come close full coverage, then again that is what i was looking for coming from nothing....

I had an 1xcel Pro Straight, basically the same deal as the Oakley Pro Straight. It never fogged up on me, clear vision and overall great visor. I dropped a screw driver on it when I was taking my visor off to put my cage back on and it scratched. Can't blame the visor for something that was my fault though.

It says that the HS22 isn't certified? I thought only the mirrored HS22 wasn't certified?

the only way a half visor is certified is if it is also mounted by the center screws by your helmet.

The HS22 visors do not provide enough coverage area to be certified.
