golfpuck 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2006 i bought a stick from this guy on ebay.lespaul1122stick visual looks fine, but blade was soft as a noodle. refuses to refund, claiming buyer beware...as well guy shipped ups, instead of usps as requested, leaving me with ridiculas ups brokerage $. I have filed a claim, so we'll see what happens.my guess is he works with the st. louis blues, as he indicated to me 12 years with the NHL, Best part is that he says the soft blade is perfectly fine... ugh

Miike 1 Report post Posted April 28, 2006 What happened when you filed the claim on him? Did you just report it to ebay and paypal and then after a month Paypal/Ebay refunded money not the guy? He still got what you paid for it? Did ebay do anything to the seller?
golfpuck 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2006 i filed a claim.they asked for proof as to why the goods were not as advertised, so you need to get a 3rd party appraisal.then paypal, asked me to send the stick back at my expense.once he recieved it, paypal took the money out of his account and refunded it to me, so i am out shipping fees and the duty fees... but that's the risk with buying anything on ebay.. be prepared to eat the shipping/duty cost if you have to send it back.but it still beats paying retail...ebay did not do anything to limit his account or anything..all he loses out on his shipping cost, and the negative feedback i sent him.and i am out $12 shipping + duty fees ($30)sucks but what can ya do...
