sr. blade in int. shaft

Recommended Posts

This may have been brought up before, but I ran a search on it and got nothing.

I have an int. shaft and a senior blade. Any suggestions on how to get it in. maybee sand the blade? the blade is tapered and is composite. Thank you for any help.

if this has been discussed please give me a link as to where I can find the thread.

what should i use to do it though. And since the tenon is hallow like the shaft wont that make for easier breakage. or would it not effect it much?

I wouldn't do that unless you have too, IMO. I have shaved the tenons on two composite blades, and both broke on the tenons a few games later. I'm not sure if this is the same result for others, that's just the way it was for me.

Can you flip the shafts over and fit any of the blades in?
