How do you hold your socks up?

I just starting wearing socks with pants for roller and i just wanted to know how people stop their socks falling down? Do you tape them at the top or simply tuck them behind your shin pads?

It is being discussed as we speak. I use a traditional hockey garter belt. A lot of guys use those velcro shorts.

Just tape 4 woolen socks and traditional garter for my teams shitty 'euro' style lightweight socks.

Don't want to jack the thread, but im having problems with the zippers on my Rbk 5k pants, always coming undone. I need any suggestions on how to keep them locked, i tried tape, i was thinking maybe a safety pin? Any other suggestions?

just take the zippers off, that's what I did with my old pants, you have more breathing room and motion IMO.

The buttons come undone which is my major problem, then the zippers follow.

Maybe remove the buttons and replace with velco? just a thought, i've seen it on other pants...
