That's a huge swing for them. I really thought they could make a huge splash with Vokoun between the pipes for the playoffs.

Maybe it turns out to be one of those Cinderella stories of where this unknown, Mason guides them far into the playoffs. Nah, there pretty much done. Looks like Witt's gonna have to find a Stanley Cup contender next year.

Even with him they'd have a first round lost just simply due to who their most likely going to be playing.

Wheres Jason Muzzatti or Authurs Irbe at...both played well and would be a great late season signing for the Predators if they would be allowed to do so, not sure if they could sign someone and put them on the playoff roster.

no doubt the preds have it much harder now but still mason is a pretty good back up and may have a coming out party and suprise some. i still think the preds will make it through the 1st round but we'll have to wait and see about the rest. also witt won't be going anywhere, i think he'll resign with nashville and we'll be back in the playoffs again next year as well. and also we could have our phenow radulov on the roster starting next season.

I'm hoping Witt re-signs, but that's iffy because I'm sure someone will come in with more than the Preds will. Shame because he's one of my favourite players plus his wife isn't bad to have around the games.
