Special Order Skates?

I've got two very different sized feet and am having a heck of time getting good fitting skates.

Does anyone know the process for contacting skate companies to order either 2 different sized skates (D on one foot, EE on the other) or having a pair custom made?

I have a pair of D width Bauer 8090's and really like them. If I found a pair of EE's for my right foot would they work wearing a D width on the left foot?

Most manufactures do have a Custom Skate Program with sizes up to 14 & 15, in there high-end skate models as well as variations of width, A-EEEE.

The first step is to get fitted at your local hockey shop.

They will fill in the proper order on your

behalf.

I think the holder size chages when you go up a width

eg.

from a 272 in a D

to a 280 in a EE

Not 100% on this though but if that is how it works your skates would feel ~WeIrD~

yeah but if its custom theyll put the biggest holder they can fit onto them

jut go to your LHS. They should be able to help you out on sizing

Actually you can choose what holder size you want, within reason. You can go down or up if you want.

Ok dont mean to steal topic, but... I am getting a pair of size 11.0 (Regular Width) Graf G3s and want to put Lightspeeds on them. On my XXXs i have size 296, would i still buy that size? or a size smaller or higher?
