removing wax from a shaft/shaving toe

Recommended Posts

i might be getting a novius 440 flex and i was wondering, the person i am buying it from put like the wax that u use on your legs on the shaft. does anyone have any ideas of how to take it off, or should i just leave it on there?

Also does it hurt the blade to shave the toe a little if it is chipped and filling it with epoxy or some kind of filler. i searched for this but didnt find anything :)

Epoxy is brittle, it will break. If you decide to file down the blade use a fiberglass repair kit (you can buy them all over) to fix it, holds and preforms great from personal experiance.

I work for home depot, fibreglass repair kits are usually found in the paint department. They aren't too expensive, probably about $10 if i remember correctly.
