If you look at the ice time, it doesn't look that bad. Only 3 players got more than 20 minutes for detroit in that game - lilja/lidstrom/kronwall and those players usually play more than 20 minutes anyway.

I was at the game, and even as a die-hard Hawks fan I will admit the Hawks looked beat on the ice. They just couldn't keep up. What else is new this season though. I think Chicago has a ways to go with their huge rookie-infested roster. As it was pointed out to me downstairs, lots of these Hawks players don't even have Hawks equipment bags yet they are so new. They are still using the Norfolk bags.

Was pretty awesome to take my son downstairs to the locker room club to meet some of the players post-game and get autographs! It was his first game ever. He was a little in awe of it all, but since Mom is a Wings fan and I'm a Hawks fan, we had a good time. Met Daze, Khabi, Shanahan, Osgood, Cheli, Lidstrom, Vrbata, and saw many others walk by. First time ever I've gotten to do such a thing! Glad I could share it with my son, although he is still a bit young for it all.
