Why is that funny? Peters is a complete joke. Kelly Hrudy said it best, something along the lines of "Why is he even doing that? It isn't like he had even the slightest impact on his team going to the playoffs. He has been scratched in almost every game this year, and when he plays he does absolutely nothing useful. He should shake his head in shame, because God knows there are people right now who are wanting to do it for him."

Besides the golf swing, he is a complete pussy as well. He was motioning to fight Belak, while skating away from him. Earlier in the game he wouldn't fight anyone, but then the linesman would grab him and he would Hollywood it up like he was willing to take on anyone.

Name one thing Tucker did this game. Absolutely nothing.

Peters this season- 27 games, 0 G, 0 A, 0 Pts. If he wants to be an annoying prick, fine. Just don't skate away time after time from Belak and Domi, yet try to attack Ondrus after the linesman have you tied up. Peters isn't even smart enough to come up with his own shit, he stole the golf thing from Briere.

I honestly thought that the whole game was kind of a joke as well. After the last Buf/TO game, everyone was pissed off and talking shit about Tucker, saying how they were going to get him, etc. Nobody even tried anything. Not even Peters, the resident tough guy who refuses to fight, would go near him. I've decided today that I'm going to start training so that I can fight Peters myself. I figure that if he won't fight a Leaf, maybe he'll fight a Leaf's fan. I'll keep you all updated how that goes.

In the game yesterday Tucker and Alfie got tied up. Alfie chopped Tucker on the wrist/abdomen after Tucker pushed him, and then Tucker tried to fight him. It was clear Alfie wasn't going to stick up for himself, and Darcy should have stopped, however.

Agreed. Domi is a dumbass that can't fight anymore, so he tackles McKee when he isn't expecting him. Tucker may have not done anything tonight, but he jumped Alfredsson last night. Chara should of crushed him from behind for that, its a shame it didnt happen.

I like Gaustad, I saw him play in Portland a lot when he was younger. However, I would never call him a tough guy. I am sour that the Leafs are out, but my reaction to that has absolutely nothing to do with that. Peters is a meathead who is worthless out on the ice. I personally have contributed as much to the Buffalo Sabres' success this year as he has.

I will also not defend Domi. Maybe I would have 3 or 4 years ago, but not now. He needs to end his career ASAP.

You realize the Domi/McKee thing was started by Peters going after Ondrus which is a worse mismatch than Domi/McKee right? Tucker and Domi are both classless morons, your right there, but the examples are just awful. Use the attempted elbow on Hecht for Tucker and the sucker punch to Alfie or elbow to Nieds. No need to "fib" and say they were running around like classless idiots today, because they really were not. They have spent alot of their careers doing it, but today they were well behaved. As for the "behind facewash", I'd say 95% of NHLErs do it every single scrum.

The point is, peters is on that team for a role, he knows it, and so does the league, and doesnt complain. Gaustad is a tough guy cuz when peters is scratched and a fight breaks out, he can tune a guy, but moreover, peters is our there strictly to fight. think peter worrell while he was still in the nhl.

I'm totally aware that each guy has a role on the team (and thanks for reminding me I'm not in the NHL), but I don't think you can compare Peters and Worrell, seeing as I've never seen him back down before.

several times this season, where he was on the ice, when one of this team mates got rifled in the boards from behind.. and domi did nothing...

last nights ottawa game, eaves on ondrus..

and then the last pittsburgh game in pittsburgh, where cairns hit someone from behind, wellwood??

and all domi did was shove the guy around.. did nothing to stand up for his team mates...

for a guy that is supposed big on protecting his team mates, and paid well to protect his team mates... he's a joke...

i am sure someone from the leafs will remember it for next year...
