What else could he have done in that situation? Hordichuk came straight off the bench head-hunting (Yeah, I fully understand why)....His gloves were off and he was throwing before Avery even turned around. Avery got jumped--he turtled.

99% of the time I'd agree that Avery's a puke--but not this time. Bet his ribs felt pretty good after that game though :)
