Stick Blade Question

Does anyone know if there is a way to get a regular blade into a tapered shaft? I really like my CCM Thorton Curve blade but i just got a Bauer Vapor XV tapered shaft with Easton Yzerman blade. But i want to use my old blade is there a way???

You can shave it down, but I wouldn't recommend it. It puts more stress on the blade and will cause it to snap.

Had the same problem a while back with the same curves. The Yzerman and old Thornton curves are pretty close so I just switched to the Yzerman and never had any issues adjusting.
