is this crack in my blade comon?

hey guys,

I am using a tapered shaft with a easton blade. I was doing one times in practce yesterday morning and when i went to retape my blade for this morning i notice I have a crack going across my blade right where the puck would hit. Its not liek a normal crack looks like chipping there too? I never used a easton blade befor and wondering if maybe this is comon for it?

Nope. Itll probably break soon. Can you bend the blade? Does it make a crunching sound?

I broke 2 tapered blades that way in the 2 weeks, both them cracked before breaking

when i used to use easton focus flex blades that would happen within a week or two of using them ( 3 practices a week, 2 games on weekends).......i switched to inno tho and never had that type of problem

ya focus flex's broke like crazy, to bad they were the best not to long ago. You should def. get a new blade before your next game.

Ive had that on both my synergy and now stealth, they didnt actually break, but got to the point where i just couldnt use them cause shots, & passes sucked
