Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 This year I bought a vapor XXX lite, I absolutely loved it. The thing is that I broke it after about 2 months of use (I NEVER break sticks). So my question is should I get another one and maybe have it break after a couple months use or should I try another stick. If I were to try another stick I am interested in the adrenaline control, I have heard great things about it and would like to try it. Thanks!
Miserable 6 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 I just gave up on bauer shafts today. They have a great feel but i can't keep them in one piece. I'd try something else.
donkey87 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Personally I would switch to the Adrenaline Control. I was using Vapor XXX sticks, but I decided to try an Adrenaline. I glad I made the switch. Great feel and the durability has been excellent.

McCabe24 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 You're lucky to have gotten two months out of it, assuming you play in a league with any physicality whatsoever. If you aren't happy with the two months definately make the switch. If you are happy maybe try a friend's Adrenaline Control and see if you like it more before switching sticks. Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Yes I do play in a league with physicality :P. About the other thing you sadi I can't try somebody elses adrenaline because my LHS doesn't carry like any TPS stuff so nobody has one. Having almost no TPS sucks. EBondo 242 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 I second the Dolomite. It's a solid, geeat feeling stick
Superman847 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 I third the dolomite. But i've used the regualr adrenaline and the feel and durabillity IMO was much better than with my xxx lite. but if you liked it an can make peice with the fact that it will break than get another one. but if you're willing to try something different than i say the adrenaline or dolomite are good choices. Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 If I knew for sure the XXX lite would break if I got it then I wouldn't even be considering it. As for the dolomite I am interested in it except that I've heard they are stiff sticks and I am a big fan of very whippy sticks :P. So I don't know if I would get a dolomite. EBondo 242 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Warrior offers a senior 75 flex in the Mac Daddy, I know for sure. I'm not sure about the Dolomite though

Miserable 6 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Warrior offers a senior 75 flex in the Mac Daddy, I know for sure. I'm not sure about the Dolomite though Dolomite shaft comes in a senior 75 but not the OPS according to the catalog.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 My fault, the OPS is a 70 flex
Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 I was using a 67 flex with my XXX lite, but I'll probably wait until after the summer to buy my stick (I'm planing on growing a lot :P). I also found an XN10 int. for 99 bucks so I might look into that too.
kovalchuk71 212 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 xn10 is more of a 60-65 flex and is VERY different in flex than the XXX
EBondo 242 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 xn10 is more of a 60-65 flex and is VERY different in flex than the XXX Yeah, the 67 flex is definitely a lot stiffer than the XN10's intermediate flex. I'm using the Warrior 70 flex, and it's working just fine for me.
Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 What stick and flex did you use before you started using the warrior?

Abbieshockey20 1 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 Would someone be able to compare the 70 flex warrior to the 67 flex XXX lite?I.E if it's a bit stiffer, a lot stiffer, or even other flexes it would be comparable to. If you could that would be great!
EBondo 242 Report post Posted May 13, 2006 What stick and flex did you use before you started using the warrior? Before the Dolomite I was using a TPS XN10, Mission Hex-1, and M-1. All intermediate. The TPS was the whippiest out of all of them, but definitely had the best feel out of the three. The Dolomite takes the cake, though.Just from being in the pro shop, the 67 flex is about the same as the 70 flex, maybe a tad whipper, but it's not too noticeable
