So im trying to make a movie and everytime i try to play what i have so far it says 'paging file too small for this operation' or something like that. Anyone any ideas?

Try clicking file and saving as movie and it will make what you have so far in to a movie and that might work

If Windows XP:

Start --> Control Panel

Double Click System icon

Advanced tab, Performance section, settings button

Second Advanced tab, Virtual Memory section

Change button

Then bump the MB up or let the system auto set it.

your paging file, or swap file is virtual memory. When your computer has run out of avalible RAM, it will create what is called a swap file. It creates space on your hard drive and uses that as memory. Without this feature, your machine would instantly crash. Sure allocating more room on your hard drive to virtual memory will allow your system to complete more tasks, but the problem with virtual memory is that it is MUCH slower than RAM, and it takes up a lot of HD space.

I suggesst buying more RAM, a site like www.crucial.com is a great place to buy ram.

^^ Just adding on to buying RAM. Crucial is an excellent brand, as well as Kingston. Always pay the little bit extra and go for name brands when it comes to computer parts, you'll thank yourself in the long run.
