custom flex

Recommended Posts

I currently use a modano 100 synergy and I was wondering if it is at all possible to obtain a custom flex - not a custom curve (as I love this curve)... The reason that I want to do this is that the 100 flex is just a tad too stiff for good snap shots, while the 85 even flexes when I stickhande, not to mention shoot. I know how hard it is to get a custom pattern (ie imposible) and I was wondering how about just a flex, somewhere in the 93-95 range. What do you guys think.

Thanks alot...

It's next to impossible. Your best bet would be to look for a GI or GU stick that has close flex and sort of curve.

Edit: I just thought of this, unless it HAS to be Easton. TPS Regular flex sticks are about 95, get one of them with the Tkchuck curve and you are set.

i doubt companies will make a custom flex what i think you should do is try a innovative 260 with a fedorov curve this way its about in the range you are looking for and about the same curve. or just try different companies with some other flexes, with a curve you like. like a ccm regular, louisville regular, and a bauer medium. or like dan said look for a gi or gu stick with the flex and curve you like.

edit:added some more info.

Why not try another company? For example, TPS has a Modano clone, and their regular flex is around a 90. Same with Inno and their 260 flex.

if you want to switch to an even lighter combo, easton cyclone with a modano zcarb, inno fedorov, a ptc tzkachuk

if you dont want to use a shaft blade combo, definately go with a response regular tzkachuk. they are dirt cheap right now
