Need opinions on what to do

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

Help me make up my mind. I bought an M-1 pro return and I can't shoot with it no matter what I do. So, I have two options.

A. I can cut down the M-1, and put in a Lidstrom blade (my pattern).

B. I can sell the M-1 and buy a pro stock Inno shaft.

My questions are two fold.

1. How is the Inno shaft compared to the Mission?

2. Since both shafts would be tapered, whats the best way to shave down a wood blade to fit?

Thanks

To be honest, I don't know the model. They are at the LHS in Surrey BC, and they are being sold as "Innovative Fedorov Tapered Senior Shafts", or "Innovative Pro Tapered Shafts".

Why don't you get a tapered blade instead of trying to shave down a wood one?

What's the pattern on the M1?

The pattern is Kubina. As I said its a pro return, but it sort of looks like a giant Lemieux. The blade on that thing is just huge.

I like the wood blades because they are cheaper. :D

I think you can´t be too sure with the Fedorov Inno´s. Some were said to be painted over Novius some were said to be 1100 and some even were marked Win-Well, no? ...also two different flexes if I remember right. You could only be sure if you check out the coding inside the shaft I think there was a longer threat about it a while back. And forget about shaving down the wood blades cause they will break right away unless you play with a tennis ball.
