monoclub 5 Report post Posted June 10, 2006 classic example of "the more you buy, the better discount you get"as a retailer, if i know a good customer who will buy 10 of a certain item, of course i will give him a good discount over the customer who buys only 1 or 2, to ensure that the first customer will keep coming back.Ron, offering good customers a discount is natural and nothing to discuss. My point again is that if ACME Co. distributes to X Co. at such a low price that X Co. can go and resell to the public at a price lower than what Acme SELLS to Y Co., well thats just plain stupid and doesn't make good business sense at all in terms of Acme growing their market or business.As I have said in my first post, the real problem lies in too much product being produced and too fast a turn around on product lines.
