Vapor 8 vs Vapor 10

I was looking at a pair of old Vapor 8s at a friend's place and was wondering what the differences are bewtween them and the Vapor 10s? Thank you in advance.

vapor 8's are not heat moldable, the eyelets rip out when you heat mold them, other than that I didnt think there were many, I skated on vapor 8's and I loved them.

the vapor 8 has a very shallow heel pocket and has no tendon guard flexablity. its very stiff, and not as light as the vapor 10. it also turns yellow as you use them. "Chil" is also right about the heat molding.

ebay is probably your best bet. Maybe try a store that sells used equipment. The last place a saw a brand new pair was at Peranis, but I think there out of them now.

Think there were a few sites that had them..but in like B and C widths.

I bought a pair from someone on these boards here few weeks ago...keep checking, something will come up

I thought I saw some at the Cabin John Rink just outside DC I'm not sure though, but I was there for stick and puck and it looked like they had the 10's 8's? and 6's hanging on the wall, I don't know about prices or sizes I can get a number if you are interested.
