Q's about new Stealth

Recommended Posts

I just got the new CNT and I noticed that where it used to say that the stealth was an 11 performance it now says that it is a 10. Did Easton just change 10 to be the top performance level or is the Stealth no longer their top of the line?

My other question is, How can I turn a non-grip stick into a grip? I have read couple posts on this site about using hairspray, but just wanted to know if anyone has had any luck making a stick into a grip.

buy Plasti-dip (clear color) in a spray can give it 2 or 3 coats and you should have an awesome grip. I have done it for all of my sticks.

what i do is i take a old plug or the cut off of one of my sticks and take black tape and wrap it around the end of the cut off and wrap the sticky side facing out. after i did this i just rub the tape where ever you want grip. alot of pros do it and it is easier and cheaper.

Stealth is still Easton's top model stick. I also use the tape inside out thing to add grip. I've never used the plasti-dip stuff before.

I've never done it cause I'm not a grip kinda guy, but some ppl use a puck to mark the stick all up, then use the tape trick that mtbutler described.

mayb easton changed the scale to 10 being the best, but even if they didnt how much of a difference is there between an 11 and a 10 performance. also, how is the hairspray supposed to work?

You're on ten here, all the way up, all the way up, all the way up, you're on ten. Where can you go from there? Where?

-I don't know.

Nowhere. Exactly. What we do is, if we need that extra push over the cliff, you know what we do?

-Put it up to eleven.

Eleven. Exactly. One louder.

-Why don't you just make ten louder and make ten be the top number and make that a little louder?

[pause] These go to eleven

Ive used it with mixed results. Have you had problems with it starting to peel off after a few shifts and some slashes?

Sorry to keep going on this tangent, but for those who would appreciate it:

the only place i have had probs with it chipping off is near the blade of the stick. but otherwise it has been solid for me
