HotBacon 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 Does anyone know any web forums that focus on Las Vegas? I'm heading out there to get married in 3 weeks, and would like to find some insight as to food, bars, sights, etc. The only thing I've been able to come up w/ are (corporate) best of lists that don't really help me out that much...I can find these spots by watching the travel channel. Jason Harris 31 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 If you like sushi, go to Todai. It's an above average sushi buffet for about $14 during lunch and $22 for dinner.
HotBacon 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 Thanks for the tip. Do you have any recommendations for a good buffet w/ lots of varieties of foods (american, asian, mexican, etc.) that won't break the bank? I'm searching for a place to take about 20-25 people for lunch/dinner after our wedding. It's going to kill me dropping the same amount of money on food that I could put to better use in new skates! HotBacon 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 Thanks for the links and good call...I guess everyone's bank varies in how much it holds. I'm looking to spend somewhere around $30 per plate, so about $600 total for 20-25 people. I figured a buffet would be the best bet at decent food and atmosphere for this price.I read Dishes (in Treasure Island) is good, as well as Rio as you mentioned. A few others that I've noticed were MGM Grand and Bellagio's buffets.
LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 The buffet at the Wynn is great. If you want a seafood buffet, then the one at the Rio is the only way to go.
LegoDoom 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2006 And if pricing is an issue, I think the Aladdin buffet is reasonable. There's also an all you can eat sushi place in the shops near there.
