Okay, I play ice hockey, but I have a pair of Missions roller hockey skates. The problem is, when I wear them for a really long time they hurt like an SOB.

Can you bake these with wheels or would I have to take them off? I use them mainly for just drop in fun shinny and for practicing stick handling and what not, but I would like to use them more often.

Thanks!

When i bake skates i always take the wheels off to prevent damaging them. I'd recommend removing the wheels before baking.

From what I've heard, Missions are notoriously hard to break in without baking, but I managed to break mine in after 3 or 4 outings with them. I will admit however, those 3 or 4 games hurt like a mofo.

If you can justify the cost of baking them, do it.

But yeah, take out the wheels and hardware first.

Does anyone have the directions for baking them at home? I too have some mission inline and I am having a hard time getting them broken in.

Thanks.
