There is a benefit to only using the Adidas brand name too. Any time you see an adidas tennis, soccer or basketball ad, it reinforces the brand name. RBK phased out (for the most part) Jofa and Koho despite the fact that both had popular products and it hasn't hurt them. There is every reason to believe that eventually other brand names will be phased out as well.

yeah, but with RBK making the contracts with the NFL, NBA, NHL and some major lacrosse leagues I doubt they'd let that name die, it's already established. CCM is one of the leaders in hockey equipment, koho was dying out(getting less popular), Jofa was more of a niche(specialized in protective equipment). It seemed only natural to keep the CCM line and phase out the rest.

I think he played a tournament with another club(think it was a driver) a couple years ago. I think he switched back like a week or two after, I think nike might have come out with a new driver that he helped design. Or something like that, it was on espn.

His problem is that he likes very traditional clubs and resists changing.

You guys remember Cooper?? Of course you do, for YEARS it was one of the biggest names in hockey, now gone due to Nike's consolidation. adidas might not take out the lower names right now, but in 3, 4, 5 years great names like CCM and Jofa could go the way of the Dodo. Besides, tell me kids wouldn’t buy a CCM skate with the three lines on the side? I don't agree with it, I'm just saying it very well could happen. Even the Bauer only logo is being threatened with a swoosh!!!!
