odp 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 Don't see why not - my portable kitchen scale is about 3/4 the size of my glove. Will just need to find a 9v battery to see if it'll work when not plugged in.
icedevil31 4 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the One 90 gloves. I have used Eagle gloves for the past 5 years. All that time, I felt as though they were the glove for me. After trying on the One 90, I was sold on the feel of the glove. I've used them in a couple of games and have had no problem getting use to them.
Jim A 4 Report post Posted June 24, 2006 if you are worrying about a few grams when it comes to gloves, maybe an ounce or two...please...I think if somone would have walked into HG with that ..I would have been doubled over with laughter...try it, like it, buy it...try it, don't like it, dont' buy it..instinct over science every time when it comes to purchasing

odp 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2006 Science isn't the Alpha and Omega, but it's better than nothing and better than hearing someone else say, "I tried them on - they felt 'good' to me." It also gives an unbiased look at things. If I just dropped $150US on a pair of gloves and they're not absolute garbage, I'm more likely to say they're the lightest and bestest glove ever. For those who don't have a LHS and don't really have the opportunity to try stuff on to see if they like it, science/quantifiable numbers are all they've got. slipslap 0 Report post Posted June 25, 2006 I just purchased the one70's and they felt just as good as the one90's but were much cheaper.

LoXish 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 I wasn't complaining, I was simply giving my opinion of them..And yes, weight does matter. I went from Mission Warp2 Gloves -- which were like TANKS and had serious weight issues... to Muskoka XT950s, which weight virtually nothing, and yes, it is nicer and it does matter as a selling point. True it is a selling point but you still might be a little critical. Ik playing with lighter gloves is nice, but besides mobility i cant tell a difference between my old coopers from the 80's and my eagles, and mission pro stocks. hamstercaster 2 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 I tried the 70's and the 0ne 90's this weekend and they felt really really good. I'm still heistating between the One 90's/70's or even 50's or the XX/XXX version as I like the feel of all these models. I've tried pretty much every other glove in the store.. only missing the RBK brand and the Bauer brand were the ones I liked best. I'm only gonna wait a bit now and see if the price of the XX and XXX will go down a bit now that the new line of gear is out. I didn't like the Eagle that much, too stiff IMO. The MIA were a close second but are overpriced IMO
slipslap 0 Report post Posted June 26, 2006 When I tried on both the 70's and the 90's I didnt feel much of a difference but theres a pretty big difference in cost so I went with the 70's and so far i love them.
